Another fail-safe cookie from my friend, the recipe thief, and altered just a little.
Chocolate Chip Flaxseed Cookies
Cream in a large bowl or mixer:
1 cup butter, room temp
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1 cup oatmeal, large flake is good
1/2 cup flaxmeal
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips or craisins (or a little of both!)
Bake 325 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
